Meet Allie & Gypsy

Gather 'round, folks! Let me introduce you to the two most paw-some members of our family: Allie and Gypsy! (Cue the confetti and doggy treats!)

First up, we have Allie, our sweet, kind-hearted canine queen who joined our pack back in 2013. This gal is half black lab and half blue nose pit bull, which means she’s got the strength of a superhero and the heart of a marshmallow (and who doesn’t love marshmallows?). Allie is a cheese connoisseur (seriously, she could teach a masterclass on cheddar) and a tennis ball aficionado. If there’s a ball in sight, you can bet your bottom dollar she’s off like a rocket, leaving a trail of giggles and wagging tails behind her!

Now, let’s talk about her favorite pastime: snuggling! Allie is a certified couch potato (with a side of athleticism), and she’s always ready to curl up with you for a cozy movie night. Just don’t forget the popcorn—she’s a fan of that too! And here’s a fun fact: Allie has been trained to never leave the front yard. So, if you’re ever in the neighborhood and see the door wide open, don’t worry! She’s not planning a great escape; she’s just enjoying her royal domain.

But wait, there’s more! If you happen to spot a cat in the vicinity, hold onto your hats! Allie’s inner cheetah comes out, and she’s off to the races. (Cats, beware! You’ve been warned!) Even though she’s an old lady in dog years, Allie’s spirit is as youthful as a puppy on a sugar rush. She’s the heart and soul of our family, spreading joy and laughter wherever she goes.

Now, let’s roll out the welcome mat for our newest family member, Gypsy! We adopted her on December 24, 2023, and let me tell you, she’s already stolen our hearts faster than you can say “fetch!” Unfortunately, Gypsy’s previous living situation was less than ideal (we’re talking a kennel that could make a dog weep). She was so eager to escape that she chewed through a metal chain! Talk about determination! But don’t worry, she’s found her forever home now, and we’re showering her with all the love and belly rubs she can handle.

So, there you have it! Allie and Gypsy, the dynamic duo of our household. They may have different backgrounds, but they share one common goal: to fill our lives with laughter, love, and a whole lot of tail-wagging fun! (And maybe a little bit of cheese on the side.)
